BFI Furniture’s old showroom no longer effectively showcased its innovative furniture solutions or provided a compelling experience for clients. To address this, the team aimed to create a new showroom that would inspire clients with real-life office setups, encourage employee collaboration in a dynamic workspace, showcase the brand’s evolution over 75 years, and foster a welcoming, functional environment that supports productivity.

BFI envisioned a modern, interactive showroom where clients could see, touch, and experience its furniture solutions. The goal was to design a space that highlighted the latest trends in workplace furniture for corporate and healthcare industries.

The team wanted more than just a display room—they aimed to create a hub for collaboration, where employees and clients could connect, brainstorm, and envision better workspaces.

To bring this vision to life, BFI curated high-end furniture from Herman Miller and Knoll to showcase ergonomic, stylish designs, and built industry-specific setups to help clients visualize their own office transformations. BFI also integrated sustainable features, including a white roof, solar panels, and an upgraded HVAC system for energy efficiency. Additionally, they designed a collaborative space where employees could interact seamlessly and improve communication.

The BFI showroom in Elizabeth, NJ, is designed with both functionality and aesthetics in mind. It features standing desks for ergonomic comfort, private meeting rooms for focused discussions, a fully equipped kitchen to foster a sense of community, conference rooms for client meetings, and a fabrics library to assist clients in customizing their furniture.

The showroom’s neutral color palette creates a timeless and inviting atmosphere that can adapt to changing trends. Clients have commended the bright and inspiring environment, which promotes creativity and engagement.
